Style inspiration from the Kim Kardashian!

Today I am writing a blog about my style inspiration Kim Kardashian. Lately I have been absolutely in love with the way she dresses both casual and formal using waistcoats as the main item. Here are some of my favourite waistcoat inspired outfits by Kim Kardashian which i think are outfits that all girls should have in their wardrobes!

Black Waist Coat

The Black waist coat can be both formal and casual depending what you pair it with here Kim has paired her black waist coat with a plain white T and dark denim jeans, natural make up and hardly any accessories. The black waistcoat still makes her look sophisticated!

 Grey Jersey Waistcoat

This waistcoat is all about comfort and is perfect at keeping you warm on those cool summer nights it is the perfect length to wear with leggings and boots and suits any and all body types!

Denim Waistcoat

The denim waist coat is a little more fashionable and easy to pair because it goes with almost everything. I personally think denim goes great with anything white, which Kim has pulled off here perfectly!

White Waistcoat

This is the classic white waistcoat, it too can be paired with pretty much anything, i would personally pair it with a formal outfit rather than a casual one because it is such a classy piece. Pair it with long pants and a plain T underneath!

Some of my favourites...

Waist coats

Hope you girls go out there and get your staple waist coat, it really is a piece that you will wear often and have fun pairing with different outfits.

Summer Bikinis!

Summer arrives and we are all eager to hit the beach to work on our tan wearing our latest bikini! This Summer brings us three trends of bikinis that stand out from the runway for me.Take a look and find out what bikini you will be rocking on the beach this Summer!

The Cut away Trend

The cut away trend is the one bikini trend that isn't for the wall flower but can look amazing and create both a sexy and sophisticated look without even trying. This trend derives from the cut away clothing trend that has been seen on the runway...Pick this as your summer bikini and you cant go wrong.

The One Shoulder Trend

The one shoulder bikini trend is one that many girls will be able to wear and look amazing this summer. If one of your best features is your shoulders then this is the perfect  swimsuit for you this summer. I personally love this trend on a bikini because it is something different to the boring string bikini!Take a look at this trend on the runway...

The Colour Trend

This trend is my favorite out of the three because i absolutely love colour! Choose a colourful bikini this summer and you will be the one standing out on the beach! Choose colours that are warm since it is summer and go wild with accessories and embellishments on bikinis. Check out these colourful bikinis on the runway...

Gladiator Goddess

This Spring/Summer's shoe trend is all about the gladiator sandals, these flats can be practical & comfortable, and still let you look stylish this season!

Pick a gladiator flat with Glittering stones if you want to add sparkle to your summer or if you going for a tougher look opt for a tougher leather with studs.

For summer dresses, gold or silver gladiator sandals will add a pop to your look and for a more dressed down & casual look go for either tan or black gladiators which look amazing with denim shorts or even jumpsuits.

Be a gladiator goddess this Summer!!!

Jump into Summer!

Jumpsuits, Rompers and Playsuits are a Summer must have and are an investment piece to any girls wardrobe. You might be asking what is the difference between jumpsuits, rompers and playsuits? The terms are often interchanged but basically, jumpsuits are long and rompers and playsuits are casual short suits. This fashion trend is super comfy and can be easily dressed up or down by the simple change of shoes and accessories for either night or day... who doesn't like simple! There's no doubt that the one-piece look is in this Spring/Summer, they come in a variety of materials ranging from simple denim to expensive silks. I love this trend because anyone can pull it off no matter what your body shape!

4 Ways to Rock the Braid this Summer...

The hottest hair trend for Spring/Summer is the Braid....which lets us girls look great while still keeping cool this spring/summer!Here are 4 unique braids that have been seen on and off the runway, below I will explain how to create them and show you some of the latest hair accessories for these seasons.

The Side Braid

The side braid is the easiest braid to create, simply brush all of your hair to one side and braid a  normal braid and end it with a ponytail. This version works best if you have long layers. The Front pieces on either side of your face are the key to pulling off this braid! To get the best result blow wave your hair first, start the braid as close to the nape of your neck as possible and use a styling gel/cream to separate the ends of the braid to finish off the look.

Peekaboo Braid

The peekaboo braid works because of it textured look! To create this braid use a combination of hairspray and hair wax to roughen up your hair and tease(back comb) the section of hair that you are going to braid. Do these few simple tricks and it will keep your hair looking undone and not too perfect which creates the messy peekaboo look!

 Loose Hair Braid

This is my personal favorite out of the 4 different braids I love the thickness of the braid and the way that it frames the face! To create this braid it is simple, start by parting your hair deep away from your forehead and on the side all the way down to your ear and then begin to braid a wide section across your hairline. If the braid slips a little onto your forehead its okay! Secure the braid with bobby pins low on the back of the head and gather the rest of your hair into a messy knot!

Fish Tail Braid

The Fishtail Braid is probably the braid that you will need to practice once or twice to get it perfect but its so worth it!Begin by tieing your hair low at the nape of the neck with a ponytail so that you begin the braiding just above the ear. To create the fishtail technique, simply break the ponytail into two ropes, take a skinny section from the outer part of the left side and add to the right, then repeat on the right side till the end of your hair.) Finish by twisting a section of hair around the end and pinning it in place or complete it with a flower ponytail.

Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Trend: Hot Pants

One of the latest and hottest trends to come off the runway this Spring/Summer are Hot Pants!I could personally never picture myself in a pair of these shorts but i'm sure there are some girls out there who could look absolutely amazing.I am however really grateful that there are these cute alternatives: Boy Shorts and Tap Pants

Boy Shorts or Short Shorts are somewhat like the hot pants but cover up your tush...phew!!!
Tap Pants are loose, which almost resemble a skirt which have a slightly longer hem line then the boy shorts.
